PROCESS

Step One: Consultation Call
First we schedule a 10-minute consultation call so I can get to know your project details and see if I’m the right fit for you.

Step Two: Initial walk-through of your space
On average, this lasts for 1-1.5 hours. I hear what you are looking to do, I offer guidance and suggestions as we go.  We discuss how I can help you achieve your goals.  At the end of that meeting or another day, I measure and take photos of the space/s we’re working on.

Step Three: Design Board Development
I create a design presentation for each room with recommendations for materials, fixtures, hardware, paint colors, and/or furniture and decór selections.  I use a design program which allows you to look at and shop for items by clicking on links.

Step Four:  Edits and Finalizations  We collaborate to edit options down.  I order samples of any materials, fabrics, and finishes you like.  We then have an in-person meeting to review samples.  I help you make final decisions.  You can then purchase products directly.  Or prepare POs and  make purchases for you, using my designer discount, when available.

Step Five (Full Service Interior Design Clients):  Manage acquiring the orders, storage of goods and installation of the materials/furnishings.  Once install is complete, I take you on a walk through of the finished project.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

We worked with Alex to assist in the gut remodel of our 1961 mid-century in the Los Feliz Oaks. Alex is so easy to work with... very drama-free and collaborative and a great communicator. Mostly, her ideas and inspiration are amazing... we couldn't have been happier with the result.
